About us
The organization coordinating
pilotage services
in the ports of Ceará.
Ceará Pilots is the organization responsible for pilotage services within Pilotage Zone ZP-05.
The entire administrative and operational structure — pilot station, launch fleet, support staff and round-the-clock operation — is unified and shared. This arrangement ensures procedural uniformity, consistent technical standards and full availability to shipowners and maritime agents.
Ceará Pilots represents the service institutionally before the Brazilian Maritime Authority, the Ceará Docks Company (CDC), the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex (CIPP) and other stakeholders in Ceará's port sector.
Its roster is composed of pilots certified by the Brazilian Navy for operations within ZP-05, working a shared schedule across both ports.
