01 — The organization
Ceará Pilots
Pilotage services in Ceará have grown alongside the state's port development. From the establishment of the Port of Mucuripe to the consolidation of the Pecém Port Complex, the pilot's technical activity has evolved in step with the increasing demands of commercial shipping along the Ceará coast.
Ceará Pilots brings together the pilots licensed to operate within Pilotage Zone ZP-05. Its entire administrative and operational structure — pilot station, launch fleet, support staff and 24-hour operation — is unified and shared, ensuring procedural uniformity and consistent technical standards in every maneuver.
